Westinghouse will expose students to a rigorous college preparatory curriculum that includes a broad range of Advanced Placement options. The school will offer four years of foreign language and an Accelerated Math Program for students who seek to take five or more years of Mathematics. Students enrolled in career pathways will gain exposure to specified areas, as early as freshmen year. Within balanced career pathways, students will gain theoretical knowledge from highly trained instructors; as well as practical experience through our work-based program. Also, the career pathways will expose students to various the career options through conferences, field observations, mentoring, job shadowing, and internships. The After-School Programs support students in areas of need, and offer enrichment opportunities for those who seek additional academic challenges.

Student activities include Academic Decathlon, debate, student-facilitated workshops, creative writing contests, math club, science club, Know Your Heritage, and various career related organizations. When students are not involved in academic extracurricular endeavors, they are participating in intramurals and ten organized team sports, in a new, state-of-the-art athletic facility. If students seek a calm, relaxing study environment, they have access to open space that has been crafted for their learning and social needs.
