Kiwi Clark, Dante Navarro, Leo Rodriquez, Anfernee Sturdivant competed in city final in both the 200 medley and 200 free relay
placing overall 9th and 10th place
Kiwi Clark placing 8th in the 50 yard free
Anfernee Sturdivant qualifying for finals in all 4 of his events placing 7th and 8th in the 200 yard individual medley and 100 yard breaststroke

AP Night
On Thursday February 16th, 2012 Westinghouse College Prep will have its first AP Night. AP Night is for any students interested in taking an AP class for the 2012-2013 school year. Parents are required to attend with their students. The event will begin promptly at 5pm in the Westinghouse Auditorium. Sister School

Dec. 15th 2011, Dr. Jackson signed the "Sister School" Agreement with Shanghai Nanyang Model High School. There are about one hundred Shanghai students and over two hundred GWCP students joined this celebration. They enjoyed exchange gifts and face-to-face interactions. Two schools are going to exchange students soon. Special thanks to the support from Governor's office and Mayor's Office!!

London Trip!!!
Hello Westinghouse students and parents! After a wonderful whirlwind 10 days in China over spring break, it's time to start planning for next year's trips! Mr. Keith will be leading a trip to London, England during spring break 2012, and we will offer a trip to Spain as well!

GWCP Writing Center
The George Westinghouse Writing Center is now open. Located in room 228 and operated full-day Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 3: 15 to 4:00, Writing Center tutors are available to assist student writers in all areas of the writing process from brainstorming, drafting, and revising to editing. Help is available on a first come, first served basis for all content areas except Mandarin and Spanish. Stop by today, and let us help!
